    Class ExternalsCopier

    Copies installed external packages, with their production dependencies, into <outDir>/node_modules so the server bundle runs from its own directory. Packages that are not installed are skipped: optional dependencies may legitimately be absent at runtime.

    • Returns the names of the copied packages.

      Parameters

      • names: string[]

      Returns string[]

    • The package.json of name as Node finds the package from from. Looked up on disk rather than with require.resolve('<name>/package.json'), which fails for packages whose exports leave it out.
